Tired of walking the hard path with your internet marketing?

Do you want better results, higher rankings, more earnings while spending less time trying to get there? We are happy to share with you valuable information that could completely change how you do your internet marking. Interested? Keep reading, you won’t regret it!

What we’d like to share with you, is our review of what one of the best (definitely the best out of what we have tried) SEO keyword analysis tools out there, – Market Samurai.

Many SEO experts have remained extremely excited about this software ever since the program launched and so are we!

Market Samurai is without doubt one of the most advanced keyword research tools available. It digs up in-depth results from the major search engines like no other tool out there. The program has a very unique mechanism that gives you not only keyword terms, but the level of competition, specific competitor sites to analyze and potential niches to go into. On top of this there’s a monetize module in the tool that helps you to earn money through affiliate sales from your Market Samurai keywords.

Keyword research can be very time-consuming work, and no matter how good you are at it, there’s always a lot of guessing and luck involved; this could be referred to as the “SEO-intuition”. Keyword suggestions from Google can be good, but nowhere near as specific and focused as those of Market Samurai; not only that but Market Samurai is easy to use. All you have to do is insert your desired keyword or niche and begin the program to generate highly-focused keywords and information.

The tool provides lots of keywords for you, and the list can be easily altered to fit your liking. If that wasn’t enough, the program gives you information related to every single keyword in your list! For example; number of daily searches on that word (Google), search trends for the keyword on Google, competition ads on AdWords, SEO Value and much more.

These things can be extremely powerful in helping you succeed. As you probably know, one of the reasons it is so difficult to succeed is that most keywords are either overcrowded by competition or too much time is spent on keywords that get low search volume. This tool can immediately help you and make sure you don’t make those mistakes!

Market Samurai has the power of extracting valuable keywords for you, which will allow you to immediately see which of the keywords have huge potential. Most importantly, it can help you discover successful keywords that have either been missed by the competition or under-valued by other SEOs- giving you valuable hits and all the possibilities that offers.

Finally there’s a tool out there that can serve anyone, not only those who are SEO-experts. You can pick up High-Traffic, High-Profit and Low-Competition Keywords easier than ever possible – with less work than before.

Imagine all the time you get freed to work on other aspects of your business with Market Samurai doing what was once such a time-consuming part of your schedule. And the tool does the work better than you can do it yourself.

The tool tells you:

Which markets you should target/which ones to avoid

Keywords to focus on (and which ones not to)

Topics and material to discover and include with your niche

Where to find the best backlinks

Who your competition is

and a whole lot more.

Look at this list, here are the 8 modules in which Market Samurai can offer you great help in your online marketing:

1. Keyword research

2. SEO competition

3. Finding content

4. Promotion (link-building)

5. Publish content (you can publish directly from the tool)

6. Monetization

7. Help with AdWords

8. Find Content/Publish Content

All of these are included for everyone, and yet another great thing is that there aren’t any monthly or annual fees. The program has a one-time fee, and you can keep earning from using it for years and years to come. We should probably tell you some reasons to why you shouldn’t be interested in it, but that’s quite hard to be honest.

The one-time fee compared to the number of hours you usually spend doing this work yourself speaks for itself. If you can afford spending valuable time optimizing keywords on your own, you can afford getting Market Samurai, at least that’s our opinion. We use Market Samurai on a daily basis and perhaps you can to; try it today. It was worth it for us.

Market Samurai Bonus

Undoubtedly one of the most exciting features of Market Samurai: Market Samurai will actually find content related to your keyword to use for promotional efforts. That’s right, find articles, related content and blog posts related to your specific keyword. The program will even allow you to publish content on the web, linking back to your site. Check it out!

When your site is up and running, it’s all good but if you don’t have any traffic, all your efforts will be in vain. There are many free and paid ways to drive traffic to your site and one of the best is through SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Quality Content Makes or Breaks Your SEO Efforts

For SEO, quality content is the first and crucial step. If you don’t have quality content, you can try pumping up your traffic with SEO tricks but this will never bring you the desired results. Therefore, before you start with SEO tips and tricks, make sure that you can regularly provide high quality content.

Choose a Reliable Web Hosting

Reliable web hosting is one more thing you should consider before your start with SEO. If your web hosting is not reliable and your site is frequently down, spiders will have trouble indexing it and visitors won’t be able to browse your site. <a href="http://www.webhostingsearch.com/reliable-web-hosting.php"title="reliable web hosting" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Reliable web hosting is vital to keep you on top.

SEO Starts With the Title Tag

The Title tag is very important both for your human visitors and for search engines. The Title tag should be both keyword-rich and informative, which is not as easy as it sounds.

Headings Come After the Title

Headings, also known as subheads, are also a place where every keyword counts a lot. Headings, such as H2, H3, H4, H5, and H6 structurize your text, make it more readable and if they contain your keywords, this usually makes your page rank higher for the particular keywords.

Keywords in URLs Also Matter

In addition to the Title tag and the headings, one other place where keywords weigh a lot is the URL. The URL includes not only your domain name (i.e. reencoded.com) but also any other filenames (i.e. http://www.reencoded.com/2009/03/23/29-web-design-blogs-you-must-follow/).

Keywords in the Text

Keywords in the body text of your page are also important and if you have good keyword density (but no keyword stuffing), this will boost your rankings a lot. Among the many keyword tools Google Adwords Keyword Tool is the most reliable. You can include not only major keywords, which generally are more competitive but also minor keywords, for which there is less competition.

Clean Up Unnecessary Code

Search engines read not the text of your page but its code. This is why you should remove any junk from your code because this not only slows down your pages but also can drag you down in search results.

Don’t Leave the Alt Attributes of Images and Videos Empty

For search engines, images and videos are not text and they can’t be indexed directly. However, images and videos have an Alt attribute, where you can enter a keyword-rich description and get the image/video indexed.

Meta Descriptions Still Count

There were times when meta descriptions were the most important SEO tool but search engines got smarter and now they don’t rely on your Meta descriptions that much. Still, the text you enter as a meta description shows in search results and based on it users will decide if they want to visit your site or not. This is why you should add some meaningful, keyword-rich text in your descriptions.

Flash Is Not Good For SEO

Flash is one of the worst SEO disasters. You might have hard times discussing the issue with your designer because it is true that from a design point of view Flash sites are great but for SEO they are a nightmare. Still, you can use Flash but always provide a detailed HTML version of the Flash page or video.

“No Archive” and “No Index” Tags Are Useful

It is great that you have a lot of contents but not everything must be indexed. For instance, if you have pages that could be considered duplicate content, or simply pages you wouldn’t like to see in search results, use the “No Index” tag. Similarly, use the “No Archive” tag for pages, which don’t need archiving.

Don’t Forget About Social Media Marketing

Social media, such as social networking sites and social bookmarking sites, can not only drive traffic directly but you can use them to get backlinks – one of the most precious commodities in SEO.

Basically, these are the most important SEO rules to follow. Apply these rules and you will notice how much more traffic your site will get.

<a href="http://digg.com/submit?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.reencoded.com%2F2010%2F01%2F27%2Fimposing-seo-on-your-site%2F"class="DiggThisButton DiggCompact" rel="nofollow">

As a current owner of a website, I have discovered its not as easy as people make it seem. Its a common misconception to think that creating a site is easy. You need to make sure that your layout is easy to understand and friendly to the user. The interface colors and placement of items is highly important. The more important the information the farther to the top of the page it should be, the less important information should be placed lower on the sites pages. Some of these tips are no-brainers, others may be new to you. Either way, you should always keep them on your mind when developing a website.

Site Navigation:Navigation should be simple. The less Javascript and Flash, the better. Although Google is beginning to learn how to crawl flash, it’s still not as good as text. Link all your pages together. Most of the pages should be accessible from your homepage. Do not use frames under any circumstance. All frames are bad. Avoid linking with images if possible.

Meta tags: Use <Description> and <Keywords> Metatags. Metatags do not have as much effect today with Google, but other search engines still rely on them heavily and they always help your ranking. Remember that what you use for a description will often be used as the search results description so write it well. The <Keywords> Metatag allows for you to input as many keywords as you want, however, 20 is a good number to aim for. Do not use keywords that are not found on your page.

Inbound links: Although inbound links remain largely out of your control, they are a great asset to you website. Links from similar websites are some of the most valuable as well as high PR links and e.du and .gov links. Do your best to avoid links from link farms and avoid linking to such websites. If you have any control over it, have different anchor text for your inbound links.

Unique content: Content is king. Content is the most important part of your website. If you have good content, visitors will return often to see what is new. They will spread the word about your site. Search engines can recognize unique content and they highly favor sites with original information.

Domain Expiration Date: Extending your domain’s expiration date can be a great thing for your website. It’s one way of telling search engines that you plan to stick around and aren’t a fly by night site. Expiration date does not have a huge effect on SEO but between 2 similar sites, the one with the later expiration will show up first in results.

Keyword Density: Too many keywords in your text and search engines view it as spamming. It also takes away from your content if you are specifically trying to stuff it with keywords. No one wants to read an article that uses “X Brand Hot dogs” in every sentence. Then again, if you have to few keywords in your text, it is difficult for search engines to decipher what it is about and which keywords to index it as. As a general rule, try to stay between 3%-6% keyword density.

<a href="http://digg.com/submit?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.reencoded.com%2F2008%2F09%2F18%2Fthe-7-top-seo-tactics-youll-ever-learn%2F"class="DiggThisButton DiggCompact" rel="nofollow">

There are many reasons to use mod_rewrite to create informative, useful URLs for your website. Most dynamic websites use some form of PHP or ASP to pull the data from the database and often times use that data in the URL as a string. This is not only a potential security flaw, it also gives the user and search engine alike a very uninformative destination for your website.

Rather than have your page selling a baseball bat as http://www.mywebsite.com/product.php?id=32 that would take you to sales page for the bat, it makes much more sense to have that URL be http://www.mywebsite.com/bats/louisville-slugger-cobra.html. While both of these URLs might take you to the same page, the user will know exactly what the page has on it when going through his history or if he emails it to himself or writes it down.

As for its affect on Search Engine Optimization, URL rewriting is a key component. Not only do all major search engines take into account the keywords in the URL, it also creates totally unque URLs for all the pages on your site which will be much more likely to be mined by the search engines. In addition, using SEO friendly URLs take all the & and the = out of the URL which can trip up some search engines and peoples links, which could cause people who’d like to link to your article to be unable to because your URL strings mess with their outbound link code.

If those reasons aren’t enough, the security risk putting your variables and code for the world to see makes it much more likely for a front-end attack on your website. They can see how you use naming conventions, what type of data is in your database, and could theoretically know that certain pages are inserting certain information using GETS. All in all, it’s just bad form.

Enough about WHY you should use nice URLs, now here’s the basics on HOW!

First, we must create or edit the .htaccess file and starting it with the command RewriteEngine On in your web root. This will turn the RewriteEngine on for your entire site.

We then Add Rewrite Rules. There are many very basic rewrite rules and some very complex rewrite rules. Here’s the basics on how it works and a very basic example.

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^old\.html$ new.html

Though this is the simplest example possible, it may throw a few people off. The structure of the ‘old’ URL is the only difficult part in this
RewriteRule
. There are three special characters in there.

The caret,
^
, signifies the start of an URL, under the current directory. This directory is whatever directory the .htaccess file is in. You’ll start almost all matches with a caret.

The dollar sign,
$
, signifies the end of the string to be matched. You should add this in to stop your rules matching the first part of longer URLs.

The period or dot before the file extension is a special character in regular expressions, and would mean something special if we didn’t escape it with the backslash, which tells Apache to treat it as a normal character.

Basically, that rewrite rule will take old.html and take them instantly to new.html without them having to do anything. While it’s never recommended to move pages, this is very helpful if you need to.

Sometimes you do want your readers to know a redirect has occurred, and can do this by forcing a new HTTP request for the new page. This will make the browser load up the new page as if it was the page originally requested, and the location bar will change to show the URL of the new page. All you need to do is turn on the
[R]
flag, by appending it to the rule:

RewriteRule ^old\.html$ new.html [R]

This is especially useful if you want bookmarkers to start using the new page. Also, this is a very important idea to remember as we go deeper into the mod_rewrite, as we will use the flagging to rewrite URLs using regular expressions.

If you are a true coder, you have used Regular Expressions numerous times on many levels. They are basically the meat of all coding, and they are very important in creating our SEO friendly URLs. If you haven’t ever used Regular Experessions, this might not make a ton of sense, but you still should be able to find and use examples to help you solve even the most tricky URL rewrite solutions.

Lets look at our above bat example. We will first start very basic.

So we have a script that when we use the URL http://www.mysite.com/products.php?id=32 it takes us to the ID 32, which happens to be our Louisville Slugger Cobra Bat. We want to make that a little cleaner and safer.

RewriteRule ^products/([0-9][0-9])/$ /product.php?id=$1

If we just add this one line of code under RewriteEngine On, it will now automatically take us to that page when we type www.mysite.com/products/32/. This is the most basic of rewrite rules and should help you see how regular expressions can be used.

This will match any URLs that start with ‘products/’, followed by any two digits, followed by a forward slash. For example, this rule will match an URL like products/12/ or products/99/, and redirect it to the PHP page.

The parts in square brackets are called ranges. In this case we’re allowing anything in the range 0-9, which is any digit. Other ranges would be
[A-Z]
, which is any uppercase letter;
[a-z]
, any lowercase letter; and
[A-Za-z]
, any letter in either case.

Now, for a bit more complex example.

RewriteRule ^([_A-Za-z0-9-]+)/([_A-Za-z0-9-]+)/?$ /product.php?name=$2 [NC,L]

This code would add the category name with – between words, then a / then the product name with – between words, replacing spaces. This one simple line turns www.mysite.com/products.php?name=bats+Louisville Slugger Cobra into http://www.mysite.com/bats/Louisville-Slugger-Cobra/.

You should be able to go through both the RewriteRule and the URLs and see how and why this works, especially using what we learned above about the special symbols.

Going through it quickly, the co

As a final example, I show you a quick error handling nugget.

ErrorDocument 404 /index.php

That will send any 404 errors to your index.php page, leaving the URL in tact. If you add a [R] at the end, it will browser redirect them and take them to the index.php page. This is true for all error codes. This is a great way to keep all traffic, even if they mess something up!

There are tons of uses for rewrite rules and much that can be done to help create safe, secure, optimized websites that are helpful for the user at the same time!
