Adobe Air has been around for quite some time, but there still seems to be a lot of designers out there who don’t really realize the true power of this platform. We’ve decided to give you a quick explanation of what this is and introduce you to 25 great Adobe Air apps that will convince you that they need to be in your toolbox!

What is Adobe Air?

Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR), also known as Adobe AIR, is a cross-platform runtime environment developed by Adobe Systems for building rich Internet applications using Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex, HTML or Ajax, that can be deployed as desktop applications. (Source: wikipedia )

What this means for those of us not completely into the technicalities, is that we get access to a lot of applications that we can run independently of which platform we are on (mac, windows and so on). Top 15 Websites for Free Photoshop (.psd) Files

We’ve earlier made our lists of web design galleries, online image editors and more. This time I decided to make a list that I’ve gotten several mails requesting for a little while. A lot of designers and creatives use Photoshop and have seen the value of using free psd-files that others have made available for public use. This can be anything from Cd-cover templates to websites and banner sizes.

By using these files you can save yourselves hours of having to do something that’s already done, along with learning some new tips and tricks.
