Design Contest – Win an iPad

Here’s your chance to be featured on [Re]encoded.com

[Re]encoded.com is hosting a re-design contest and you the community get to pick the winner!  It’s your chance to stretch your design muscles and show us what you’ve got.

1st Place: winner receives an Apple iPad and will be featured in the sponsors sidebar for 1 month

2nd Place: winner receives a $200 Amazon Gift Card

3rd Place: winner receives a $100 Amazon Gift Card

Here’s how to enter:
From May 31st to June 11th (that’s 2 weeks) send a fully functional re-design of the [Re]encoded.com website to ryan [at] reencoded [dot] com along with your name, website, address (so I can mail you an iPad), and Twitter username (if you have one).  The redesign can be any layout or color scheme you want.  Be certain to include a Twitter, Facebook, and RSS button, and accommodate our current ad blocks to have your design featured. Visit the advertising page if you need to know what ad blocks we have on the site.

The top 10 designs will be featured from June 14th to June 18th (that’s 1 week) on the [Re]encoded.com website where the community will have a chance to vote on the winner.

On Monday, June 21st the winners will be announced!

Contest Schedule
Send us your submissions May 31st through June 11th
Voting will occur June 14th through June 18th.  At midnight voting will close.

Here’s the fine print:
A wordpress theme submission entitles [Re]encoded.com to all rights, meaning we can use it on our site.  Submissions must be original work.  The use of copyrighted, trademarked, or patented works is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification from the contest.  Only one entry per person.
WordPress themes may only be submitted during the submission dates.
Valid entries will meet the specifications mentioned above.  Only valid entries will be judged.
The [Re]encoded.com staff will pick the 10 themes to be featured.  All valid submissions will be mentioned.
Voting will occur during the times listed above.  Only one vote per person will be counted.
