I am a big fan of character illustrations and I prefer using of character illustrations. I believe that the use of character illustration will definitely provides an awesome output. Use of characters is in trend and can be seen everywhere in logos, banners, backgrounds, etc. Using your own cartoon character to represent yourself is also gaining importance. One can witness the growing use of this innovative trend in portfolios of many web designers.

    AEOC is awesome, absolutely love the colours and the shape that make up the fox. Cossack Spring Pea is very good also, for the same reasons. There are a lot of fun well designed icons here, the problem is getting the client to agree to such a whimsical design. My past experience found it is easy to come up with a funky icon but harder to get the client on board.
