Thanks for the article about Twitter integration as I finally want to sit down and actually integrate it into WordPress (and well, maybe update my site too) =)

FYI, I have used TweetDeck and Twirl. I am just not an Adobe AIR fan (the runtime needed for these) and am pretty happy with using HootSuite (2.0) for now as it runs in just about any browser without a lot of overhead or installing anything.

One good twitter plugin I found is tweet suite. It allows you to put tweets on your sidebar, put a retweet this button, and even automatically update your twitter account when you post a blog post. Best of all, it’s free.

I can’t wait to see how Twitter turn their brand equity and traffic into money.

If I were them, I’d come up with some sort of Adsense-like program with revenue share to the Twitter page owner and sell small and tasteful banner ads on profile pages at a cost per impression and a cost per click.
