Create your own great Web Background / Texture Image in minutes – Photoshop

4 Comments 16 August 2009

I have seen many websites using really good texture images that play an important role in making beautiful websites. There are many free and paid resources online to find these great textures for any website.

Here I would like to share one simple but interesting way to create cool textures for your website in minutes through the world’s best designing tool – Photoshop.

I am using a simple image and converting it into a beautiful texture. The image can be anything-your favorite wallpaper, your own image, your own photography or anything else you can think of. You can also convert any general image to an interesting website texture through Photoshop in minutes.

Blur Filter:

Motion Blur
Angle : 90
Distance : 777 pixels

You can now create many of different artistic textures using simple Blur Filter in Photoshop. I have just used an example of Motion Blur, just try with other blur tools.
