Nice work – I’ve always got by on other wordpress designs and never bit the bullet to design my own – you’ve definitely given me confidence. I’m definitely not a PHP guru – but I think I could handle that code!

Also, I noticed you have chris coyier’s blog on your list. He also has an awesome site where I’ve learned a lot of information called css-tricks.com. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s a noobie in programming.

I second the comment about CSS tricks. If you’re a beginner, follow the screencasts on creating a wordpress theme
after that , read the themeshaper tutorial, it’s a bit more advanced, but very very good information

Last days i searched lots of articles about creating wordpress themes because i can’t find to much themes for gambling and i just buyed 200 domains for wich i need to make some nice themes.
What i wanna do is a 3 collumns content in left and 2 columns in right for sidebar, something like the green theme. I don’t need comments and other stuff like that.
If someone is a good theme designer i will pay him to help me to make some good themes.
In mean time i will try to make something by myself the tutorials seems to be simple and welll explained.

This is a great collection. Chris Coyier and WP Designer basically taught me how to use and work with WordPress.
Can thoroughly recommend them to beginners.

I do not create WP themes, but i modify existing themes (change top bar icons in theme, redesign the existing theme …). Anyway, great tutorial.

Its so strange but i am a user of dreamweaver but i just cant used wordpress. i started out trying to use it and just could not get it. then i started learning dreamweaver by myself even thought focks say WP is easy
