Just started on WordPress last week and this post really inspires me to continue struggling with getting to grips with it. I’m currently using a theme but plan to create my own in the coming weeks. http://tinyurl.com/kwrfh7

Great list of WordPress uses. Didn’t know most of them before reading this post. That’s why WordPress is the best CMS now with most plug-ins and largest community.

I think such collections are great examples of how diverse and unique the WordPress application could be. It’s useful to know cause people often refuse to use CMS thinking it’ll make their website look monotonous and boring, and that’s not true.
Beautiful collection!

I am a print designer entering the world of web. Apple iWeb was recommended to me, but now I’m thinking WordPress might be a more prudent choice. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for mentioning the Oregon Coast site we worked on. WordPress has been a great CMS for us to use. Granted, we’re probably doing things with it that weren’t intended, but that’s the beauty of the platform; we can customize it to do what we need it to do.
We’ll continue to push it further… just wait for the next site we’re coming out with in a few weeks!
